Box Score 2 ABILENE — Andy Cavins secured his 300th career head coaching victory as unbeaten, third-ranked Navarro won four matches at the Wrangler/Ranger Round Up hosted by Cisco and Ranger Colleges.
The Bulldogs overcame an 0-2 deficit in their first match against seventh-ranked Division II Cowley, but rallied for a decisive fifth-game victory.
Afterward, Navarro rolled to consecutive 3-0 sweeps over Seminole State, Ok., Laredo and host Cisco. Navarro 3, Cowley 2 NC came back from losses of 25-22, 26-24 to defeat Cowley, 25-19, 25-15, 15-4 as Jordan Russell had a team-high 25 kills and 53 total attacks. Emily Witt added 48 assists. Patricia Pantoja recorded her first kill-dig double-double (10/14). Carla Boudal totaled a team-high 22 digs for the Bulldogs.
Friday's match was the first this season in which the Bulldogs were extended to a fifth game.

The Bulldogs hit .474 in a 25-8, 25-8, 25-10 sweep of Seminole State as Madison Schultz led NC with 12 kills. Emily Witt provided 34 assists and Carla Boudal added 13 digs in the three-game match. Ola Rojecka made her debut with four kills and four block-assists.
