CORSICANA, TX- The Navarro College Volleyball program stays steady in the NJCAA National Rankings at #20 for the second week in a row. 

The Dawgs (4-2) in conference play took on Wharton County Junior College(4-5) and (#3)Blinn College(8-0) this past week. Navarro split the matches by beating the Wharton Pioneers (25-23,25-13,25-19) and taking a loss to the Blinn Buccaneers (19-25,16-25,23-25). Last weeks efforts saw Sophomore Opposite, Ana Beatriz Nunes Dos Santos, pick up Region XIV Player of the Week with 24 kills, hitting .363% and notching 27 digs between the two contests. 

NC has a few players recognized nationally including freshman libero, Alessia Sonzini, ranked #14 with .61 aces per set and ranked #47 with 4.20 digs per set, along with freshman outside, Maria Eduarda Dudao, ranked #18 with .59 aces per set and sophomore middle blocker, Wiktoria Warpechowska, ranked at #41 with 1.03 blocks per set. Freshman setter, Eline Fieremans, ranked #27 with 8.46 assists per set, respectively. 

The Dawgs are set to play two more conference rivals this week at home against Coastal Bend College and Blinn College.
