Navarro forward Rafiatu Alhassan was named Wednesday as the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Player Of The Week.

Alhassan scored four goals in shutout victories over Paris on Wednesday (2-0) and over Jacksonville Saturday (3-0). She improved her season goal count to 12 with both goals in the home win over the Lady Dragons, and accounted for insurance goals inside the final six minutes at Jacksonville.

The native of Ghana last year earned NJCAA Player Of The Week honors September 20-26, 2021 for six goals during a two-win week.

Alhassan's Navarro career currently lists 46 goals, 18 assists and 110 points.

Her 46 goals rank third among career goal-scorers, tied with Bulldog Hall of Famer Mandy Gomez Fortner  (2004-05). Only Trudi Carter (2013-14) with 54. and Venecia Reed (2008-09) with 60 have scored more.
