Coach Grant McMillan's Navarro Bulldogs participate Friday in the annual Mullen/Mitchell Jamboree at the Game-On Sports Complex in Fort Worth.

Navarro will scrimmage three squads Friday evening: Hutchinson, on Court 1 at 4 pm; Midland, on Court 5 at 6 pm; and East Mississippi on Court 3 at 9 pm.

Last year, the Hutchinson Blue Dragons went 26-9 and reached the second round of the NJCAA Tournament.

Midland hired former Odessa and Blinn head coach Tra Arnold in June as it attempts to restore the winning tradition of Chaparral basketball.

East Mississippi's Lions last season qualified for the Region 23 Tournament and finished 21-7.

 

At 10 am Wednesday, Navarro will participate in the 24th annual Region XIV Media Tipoff at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens.  League coaches will visit with the media, share preseason previews, schedules and rosters for the 2022-23 season.
