The small coed cheerleading teams from Navarro College and Blinn College faced off in the NJCAA's inaugural competitive cheer match on Saturday, October 19th at the Kruse Center in Brenham, Texas.

As anticipated, the match-up was decided in the final moments, with the Bulldogs narrowly defeating the Buccaneers 153.55 to 148.75.

Over the course of three periods and 12 heats, Navarro triumphed in five heats, while the teams tied in two.

Navarro scored a total of 154 points across three periods, while Blinn recorded 150 points. Judges then assessed the teams based on tumbling, building, and safety, leading to the final score adjustments.
