Corsicana, TX - Navarro Volleyball alum Jordan Lockwood has signed a professional contract with the Orlando Valkyries of Major League Volleyball.  Lockwood played for the Bulldogs in 2019, leading the team to their first national championship.  She was named 2019 AVCA Two-Year College National Player of the Year after leading the Bulldogs in kills (397), attacks (963) and points (467.5), and finished second in block-solos (20), third in block-assists (61) and fourth in digs (229).  In the championship match, she notched a staggering 27 kills and 15 digs to clinch the championship for Navarro.

In addition to her National Player of the Year award, Jordan was also named an AVCA 1st Team All-American, NJCAA National Player of the Year, the NJCAA National Tournament MVP, and an NJCAA 1st Team All-American.  After concluding her career at Navarro, Lockwood played at the University of Pittsburgh, before using her final year of eligibilty at the University of Denver.  She has been playing professionally in Europe for the last three years.  We are excited to see Jordan play in the U.S. next season with Orlando.
