Pamela Butler enters her second season as an Assistant Coach for the Navarro College Bulldogs. During the 2024–2025 campaign, she played an integral role in helping guide the Bulldogs to a 21-13 overall record, including an 11-3 mark in Region XIV play. Pamela served as the team’s primary hitting coach, working closely with the Bulldog pin hitters to develop offensive consistency and elevate their performance.
A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Pamela began her collegiate playing career at Coffeyville Community College (KS), where she was a standout performer during the 2010–2012 seasons. She led the Red Ravens to consecutive conference finals appearances and earned numerous accolades, including Verizon Player of the Week honors, two-time KJCCC All-Conference, two-time NJCAA Region VI All-Region, and NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention as a sophomore. She remains the all-time leader in both single season kills (624) and career kills (1,138) at CCC, finishing her sophomore season ranked third nationally in kills per set (4.62).
Pamela transferred to NAIA powerhouse Park University in Parkville, Missouri, where she helped the Pirates to their first-ever conference finals appearance in 2012–2013. After transitioning from outside hitter to middle blocker in her senior year, she played a key role in leading Park to a conference championship and the program’s first NAIA National Tournament appearance. The Pirates finished the 2013–2014 season with a 33-5 record and a top 10 national ranking. Pamela earned Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance.
Over the past decade, Pamela has remained deeply involved in the volleyball community as a club coach, working with both boys' and girls' teams at Oklahoma Peak Performance, Kaizen, Drive Nation, and Tejas Volleyball Club. She continues to compete in adult leagues and participates annually at USAV Open Nationals.
Pamela is married to Dylan Butler, a native of Hawai‘i and former Park University men’s volleyball player. The couple has a seven-year-old daughter, Isabella. Pamela currently works full-time as an Operations Manager and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management at Tarleton State University.
