Navarro College

John graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a BS in Health Management, and from Tarleton State University in 1998 with an M.Ed.  
Following graduation, John spent two years as an athletic trainer in the high school setting in Texas before accepting the Head Athletic Trainer position at Cisco Junior College.  During his time at Cisco, he started a preparatory student athletic trainer program which placed students at collegiate programs all over the nation as well as MLB and NFL internships.  

In 2007, John accepted the Head Athletic Trainer position at Alabama A&M University working with the football staff day to day and supervising the care of all student athletes.
           
In the fall of 2011, John became an outreach Athletic Trainer and began working with the Brewer and Priceville High Schools.  In 2017, John became dedicated to Priceville only. 
           
John is excited to take over an established Athletic Training program here at Navarro College. The resources, facilities and the potential for growth present a unique opportunity to nurture the program into a leader in Athletic Training education in the state.
 
John enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family.  John and his wife Sandi have five children, Christopher, Staci, Michael, Xander, and Xoi, and four grandchildren, Aubree, Rylee, Kynslee, and Leonard.
