Navarro College

Xavian Jimenez enters his first year as an assistant coach for the Navarro Bulldogs. Coach Jimenez arrives in Corsicana after serving as a Graduate Assistant for the New Mexico State Aggies Men’s Basketball team. Jimenez took on the role after spending four seasons as a manager for the program. During his sophomore year, the Aggies posted a 27-7 record and captured the WAC Tournament title, earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament. In the first round of the tournament, NM State pulled off an historic 70-63 win over UConn before falling in a close 53-48 battle against Arkansas in the second round.

Jimenez graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Exercise Science, and minored in Psychology; in May 2026 Coach Jimenez recieved his masters degree in Kinesiology from NMSU. A New Mexico native, he was raised in Albuquerque and was a part of a state championship basketball program at Atrisco Heritage Academy High School.
