Mangus, Cubs Agree on One-Year Deal

Thomas Mangus signed a 1 year, $220,000 contract with the Chicago Cubs.

The Cubs' 18th round selection in the 2024 MLB Draft earned Region XIV North Pitcher of the Year honors after compiling a 5-4 record with a 3.01 earned run average and two saves. Mangus struck out 81 batters in 80.2 innings spanning 17 appearances for coach Whoa Dill's conference champion Bulldogs.

The Cubs announced Thursday that they had signed all 20 of their 2024 draft picks.
