Susie Gatlin Raines starred as a dominant pitcher for the Navarro College Bulldogs from 1998 - 2000, helping lead the program to back-to-back conference championships in 1999 and 2000. Known for her poise in the circle and relentless competitive spirit, Raines anchored the Bulldogs' pitching staff as their ace, becoming a cornerstone of Navarro's winning tradition.
Over her two-year career, Raines amassed 49 victories, including an incredible 17 shutouts, and a set program records that still stand today. She ranks first in Navarro's softball record books for shutouts, innings pitched, and single-season wins (30), while also placing among the top five in career winning percentage, starts, and appearances. Her consistency, leadership, and record-breaking performances left an enduring mark on Navarro softball and paved the way for future Bulldog champions.
